Online registration is now closed for Thunder in the Valley. However you can still sign up for the race during our early packet pickup on Friday from 4 - 8 p.m. on the beach at Hawthorn Park or you can sign up race day from 6 - 7:30 a.m. at the Dogwood Shelter in Hawthorn Park.We're celebrating the 38th anniversary of the Thunder in the Valley/Terre Haute Triathlon!
The Terre Haute Triathlon is a time tested Hoosier favorite and one of the oldest running triathlons in the state. This year is the race's 38th Anniversary. Athletes will also get top notch swag with custom die cast 38th anniversary finisher medals and awards, custom race bibs, event swim caps, and a sweet participant t-shirt.
Attention: This event is limited to 300 participants
Thunder in the Valley features a calm lake swim in Hawthorn Park, a flat bike ride for the sprint triathlon (the Olympic athletes will experience a few rollers before their turn around), and a fast and flat run. So sign up and come join us at this beautiful venue!
